Dan Weber: Past Champion Recipient

A tremendous supporter of Champions For Cures from the beginning, Dan Weber was named our 2016 Champion. Never did he realize how significantly cancer could affect someone until he himself was told those three little words, “You have cancer.” After a rigorous battle with a rare cancer called Liposarcoma, we are happy to say that he is currently cancer free and more eager than ever to help find a cure. Bid on an Auction or Donate today.

Eric Kingdon: Founding Member

Eric Kingdon is a founding member of Champions For Cures and has been heavily involved over the years. What started as Birdies For Cures (an annual golf outing) has grown into much more today due to his personal efforts. He and his family (Brit and Henry) have moved to Minnesota and welcomed another member (Jackson) to the family in December 2020. Eric’s Dad, Randy, bravely fought prostate cancer for eleven years before passing away on September 15, 2017. Randy’s wish was for the proceeds for 2018 to be directed towards prostate cancer research. His family chose the prostate cancer research program at the University of Chicago that worked along with Randy’s doctors in Peoria, IL to provide treatment.

McCulley Family

Kort McCulley is a founding member of Champions For Cures and has been heavily involved over the years. What started as Birdies For Cures (an annual golf outing) has grown into much more today due to his personal efforts. He and his family (Steph, William, Charlotte, and Frankie – dog) just welcomed in Charlotte in November 2020.

Nash Family

Jason Nash is a board member of Champions For Cures and has been heavily involved over the years. What started as Birdies For Cures (an annual golf outing) has grown into much more today due to his personal efforts. He and his family (Victoria, Hunter, and Harrison) live in Burr Ridge, IL and run a real estate business, Nash Real Estate.
